An individual session consists of a one-hour workout with the
instructor and the athlete only. In this session, we work on
drills and correcting techniques. We spend a considerable amount
of time on weaknesses, as well as strengths, to help the athlete
become as complete a player as possible. We will work on shooting
drills to enhance game-time performance. Dribbling drills will
also be conducted for all positions.
These sessions consists of the instructor and two or more
individuals. In these workouts, we center on one-on-one play.
In most cases, we team up two individuals within the same
position so that one-on-one play is possible. In group workouts,
all shooting and dribbling drills can be put to the test.
Athletes compete against each other and assist in the betterment
of all skill levels.
Strength Training introduces athletes to the fitness side
of training. This aspect is equally as important because there
are specific exercises athletes can perform to increase their
ability. Here, athletes learn what will benefit their bodies
and what is harmful. Athletes learn correct techniques to
prevent injury, as well as how lifting can prevent injury.
We teach sport-specific workouts to our athletes. Muscles
need to be trained differently as athletes move from one sport
to the next.
Plyometric workouts are explosive bounding, hopping and jumping
drills performed to improve jumping ability. Not only will
this improve an athlete’s vertical leap, it will also
improve explosive power. Explosive power increases the height
of an athlete’s jump, speed, strength etc. When these
exercises are done correctly and consistently, great improvements
can be achieved in very short periods of time.
These drills are designed to train an athlete’s body
to react quicker, run faster and improve upon his/her athleticism.
These workouts enhance the fast twitch fibers in the body,
allowing one to boost speed levels. Plyometric training, incorporated
with SAQ training, makes the ultimate athlete.
Team camps allow us to work very closely with the coaches
to determine what their individual teams need. Our focal point
is increasing team chemistry by performing drills, specifically
designed to benefit the team. Shooting/dribbling drills are
catered to each team’s offensive schemes. We work also
to improve on each team’s defensive capabilities. *
SAQ training can be conducted to improve teams’ speed.
